T-Pain wants things to change. The hip-hop star has spoken up about switching up Black History Month.
When TMZ caught up to him at Los Angeles’ airport, he spoke about how he doesn’t like how the month of February is recognized. The DMV native says he thinks the second month of the year being recognized only separates everybody more.
He told the publication….
“[White people should] stop celebrating it. I don’t think we should celebrate Black History Month. I think we should just have history.” He continued, “You [are] separating us again! We want to be part of history, not just one month of it. I’d rather everybody stop celebrating that s**t and just let us be part of history. And if you haven’t paid attention, it’s the shortest month of the year.”
T-Pain has never been one to shy away from expressing a strong opinion, and some would say he makes a good point. What say you???
Until the next time it drips…
