KING VON TO RELEASE POSTHUMOUS ALBUM, FIRST SINGLE IS OUT NOW

A King Von posthumous project is releasing soon. A little over a year after the release of his debut album, it’s been revealed another EP is on the way.

Dropping March 4th, Only the Family Entertainment (OTF) and Empire have announced news of the late rapper’s posthumous album, titled What It Means to Be King. OTF and Empire have also dropped the first single from the project, “Don’t Play That,” which features 21 Savage.

Von was shot and killed in Atlanta back in November 2020, passing away at the age of 26. Following his death, several of his songs charted for the first time on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Took Her to the O” made its way to No. 47, while songs like “The Code” and “All These N—as” charted at No. 66 and No. 77, respectively. While he’s no longer here, his dedicated fan base can be happy in knowing his legacy will live on, especially with the help of new audio fire.
