XXXTENTACION is breaking records. The late artist has made Spotify history with his fan-beloved ? album.
As reported by Chart Data on Thursday, the Florida native’s sophomore album is now the most streamed hip-hop album in Spotify history. It has surpassed Drake’s blockbuster 2018 effort Scorpion, both of which now have over 7 billion streams.
? now has 7.884 billion plays on the streaming giant, edging past Scorpion, which has 7.883 billion plays, by less than a million spins. This is a major moment for the late Soundcloud superstar, who had beef with ‘Drizzy’ while he was alive. He even called Drake a “pussy n*gga” for allegedly stealing his “Look At Me” flow on “KMT.”
X was tragically shot and killed back in June 2018, during a botched robbery in Deerfield County, FL. This new feat, however, shows that his fanbase is as strong as ever and his music will continuously live on.
