Eminem is respecting greatness. While still in Los Angeles post-Super Bowl festivities, he checked out a Tupac Shakur museum exhibition.
2Pac’s presence was certainly felt during the halftime show, in which Slim performed with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and others. The Aftermath founder andĀ Snoop Dogg had an amazing performance of āCalifornia Love,ā and Dre also did a brief piano rendition of āI Aināt Mad At Cha,ā during which Eminem rapperĀ took a knee.
‘Em’ continued keeping Pac in his mind this week by taking a trip toĀ Wake Me When Iām Free, a museum experience at L.A. Live dedicated to the late rap icon. Created in collaboration with his estate, it aims to honor the life and legacy he left on the world in his short 25 years here.
According to theĀ official website, the exhibition ādelve[s] into the greater meaning of his activism, music, and revolutionary art through a labyrinth of emotions, as they take this journey through his extraordinary life.”
Legends never die, and this is especially confirmed as true when a living legend honors a passed one.
Until the next time it drips…
