Coi Leray is back in the headlines once again. She didn’t do it herself, but rather due to Nicki Minaj’s response to her father.
Benzino, a veteran Boston rapper, claimed that his daughter has an upcoming collaboration with Nicki on the way. “She got the song with Nicki Minaj that’s gonna be coming out that’s gonna be crazy,” he said on Clubhouse over the weekend.
However, it seems like that’s not true at all, as confirmed by the New York star herself. Nicki went to her Instagram Story with a message about the matter, letting fans know it is complete cap. It was a mix-up Benzino has apologized for already.
“I don’t have a collab coming with anyone,” she penned. “Onika mode. Love you.” It seems like their collaboration was a false alarm, but you never know if they could potentially link up in the future in the studio at some point.
