André 3000 has something new for fans. The veteran rap star will be contributing four new songs to a new movie soundtrack.
The Outkast icon appears on tracks called “My Life Without You,” “The Boxcutter,” “Dog Fight,” and “Pinky Fight” for the new A24 movie, Everything Everywhere All at Once. He’ll be making the appearances under his real name – André Benjamin – but don’t expect any hip-hop from him.
According to Rolling Stone, all of the appearances find him playing the flute. He’s gone viral for playing the instrument over the last few years, a pastime he’s really seemed to love picking up.
The movie is slated to drop on March 24, but the soundtrack will take a little longer to hit streaming platforms. It comes out on April 8, so fans might need to see the movie if they want to hear what he can do on the flute prior to that day.
Until the next time it drips…
