Lil Durk has big news for fans. The hip-hop star has gone to social media to tease a possible major collaboration project.
‘Durkio’ and Kanye West were originally supposed to face off with their new albums, 7220 and Donda 2, respectively, on Tuesday. However, the Chicago artist bailed on dropping his project, while Mr. West dropped his album in two phases on his stem player on Friday.
The rumors ran wild, with many social media users suspecting the album showdown was just an attempt to troll Kanye. Some took it a step further and created chatter of a possible Pete Davidson feature on Durk’s album, which would be a clear sign of playing with Ye.
However, Durkio went to his Instagram Story to respond to the rumors. “This a lie I don’t even play like that,” the rap star wrote. “Plus Ye want to do a album together,” he continued, putting in place the beginning steps of what could be a dope collaboration.
