Fivio Foreign knows he’s nice with it. The New York drill star has opened up about who he sees as the best hip-hop artists from his city.
During his recent visit to the DJ Akademiks podcast show Off The Record, Fivio revealed his picks for the five rappers he thinks are the faces of the Big Apple. It’s no surprise he included himself, but many are questioning one of his picks.
“Me, Lil TJay, Kay Flock, Bobby [Shmurda], Rowdy [Rebel],” Fivio told Akademiks. He continued saying, “Kay Flock locked up, you know what I mean,” which is the one a lot of fans are shaking their head about.
Fivio explained name-dropping Kay Flock, saying…
“When he come home, he going to have to do the same thing I did. Now you gotta expand and make the global shit plus the core shit and just go viral. That’s how you gotta do it.”
If Kay Flock can do what Fivio did and blow up big, then maybe he will one day deserve to have his name on the list.
