Kanye West is celebrating what he sees as a victory. After Billboard determined his recent Donda 2 album wasn’t eligible for their charts, he went online to note a big W.
Billboard determined that the rapper’s latest album failed to meet chart eligibility requirements due to its release, which came exclusively through Ye’s $200 Stem player. Mr. West declared victory in his efforts to switch up tradition by taking to his Instagram account.
“Big win for the kid We can no longer be counted or judged We won we won we won we won,” Kanye wrote in a post on Wednesday morning. He included an image of himself staring blank-faced and rocking a black hoodie.
“We make my own systems We set our own value aaaand yesterdays price is not todays price baaaaabeeeee!!!!!” he added. Everybody has their own opinions about Kanye and his moves, but you can’t deny he isn’t afraid to shake up normality.
