Jack Harlow is speaking up. The Louisville rapper has stepped forward to address one of the most controversial Hip-hop situations in recent years.
Over the last year and a half or so, there’s been so much talk about the alleged incident between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez. The Houston rapper claims that Tory shot her in the foot, however, he maintains his innocence to this day as they continue to battle it out in court.
At the time of the incident allegedly went down, Lanez had just jumped on the remix to Harlow’s hit song “WHATS POPPIN.” Despite calls for the rapper to remove Tory from the track, he never took him off. During a new cover story with Rolling Stone, Harlow decided to address the matter in the way he saw fit.
Harlow broke it down…
“I know I’m a good person. My character, my integrity are very important to me. And I think I’ve done such a good job that now I’m being forced to answer for other people’s actions. It doesn’t feel right as a grown man to speak for other grown men all the time. … One thing’s for sure, is that Megan got shot. And I wish her nothing but love and respect.”
Did Tory do it? To this day, we still aren’t sure. However, we can be sure he and Megan’s celeb peers aren’t going to always pick sides. It appears most don’t to get caught up in the middle of their drama.
