Did Snoop Dogg do it? Fans are confused after two iconic Death Row albums have been taken off streaming services.
Legendary projects The Chronic, by Dr. Dre and Snoop’s Doggystyle disappeared from all streaming platforms over the weekend. Many are speculating it had something to do with the ‘Doggfather’ after recently acquiring the Death Row Records’ catalog.
According to Billboard, people noticed the absence of Dre’s groundbreaking debut and Snoop’s own seven-time platinum album release from popular streaming platforms this past weekend. There’s one other Death Row album that is now unavailable – Dogg Food, Kurupt and Daz Dillinger‘s 1995 debut album.
The vinyl and CD versions of these albums are also gone from the Death Row Records website. There’s no definitive reason why this happen, or if they’ll return to platforms, but fans can only hope they get to keep listening to the classic audio fire.
