Is Doja Cat a rapper? According to Terror Squad emcee Remy Ma, the answer is no.
During a new interview with Drink Champs‘ DJ EFN and N.O.R.E., the Hip-Hop veteran put N.O.R.E. in his place when he referred to the “Say So” superstar as such. “I don’t think she’s a rapper,” Ma interjected.
“Let’s be clear with that. They put her in the rapper category, I don’t think she’s a rapper,” she continued. However, this wasn’t to say she didn’t put respect on the 26-year-old’s name and status as an elite artist.
The “Lean Back” artist finished her remarks that Doja “makes dope records, and I think she’s dope.” Her comments have sparked a Twitter war with many taking both sides about the matter, but ultimately, most giving her well-deserved flowers as a talented musician. What do you think?
