Apparently Chris Rock and Will Smith haven’t made up. The former’s brother has spoken out online about the controversial Oscars slap.
Tony Rock, who like his brother is also a comedian, took to Twitter for his typical 20 Question Tuesdays with fans. Unsurprisingly, he was met with a number of inquiries about the Fresh Prince slapping his sibling in the face on stage after a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith.
Asked how he felt about “the Oscar fiasco,” Tony kept it a buck and said it was “foul.” He also confirmed that Diddy was capping when he said the two made up that night and are all good now.
When a fan asked if Diddy was lying about the matter, the 47-year-old simply replied, “Yep.” After the explosive exchange that went down that night, it may take more than PR spin to mend fences.
While Will Smith has publicly apologized for the incident, Chris Rock hasn’t spoken about it yet or released a statement.
