21 Savage is still feeling the impact. The Atlanta rapper is still going through the repercussions of his 2019 arrest.
According to TMZ, his case involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents is still in limbo due to an ongoing criminal case against him in DeKalb County, Georgia. His issues with ICE could cause him to get deported back to the United Kingdom due to an an expired visa.
Federal agents allege that the “a lot” star ditched a bottle of codeine outside of his vehicle. They also found a handgun inside his car, but there are still no 2022 court dates on the books for 21 Savage.
Somehow, he wasn’t formally hit with charges for possession of a gun and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance until January 2022, even though he turned himself in on September 23, 2021. The star was bonded out immediately.
It’s still to be determined what will happens with both cases. His ICE case could get him a 10-year ban from the United States if found guilty.
