The Game is going at 50 Cent, once again. He’s revealed the specific reason why he challenged Eminem to a Verzuz battle, and it involves ‘Fif.’
During a new appearance on Uproxx’s Fresh Pair with Katty Customs and Just Blaze, he doubled down on his claims that he’s a better rapper than Slim Shady. He explained his reasoning for inviting ‘Em’ to a rap face-off, saying, “it was to challenge him. To challenge hip-hop. To ignite a rap riot. Not a street fight or not a ‘let’s pull out the straps’ but ‘n***a, get up and rap.'”
He then said he looked at the Detroit native as the greatest rapper, due to his history with Interscope and Aftermath Records, but his take was factoring in their skills today without regard to previous accomplishments, to which he was then asked directly by Just Blaze, “Why Em?”
The Game responded, “Because 50 can’t rap,” and then he elaborated…
“And so, I gotta go and level up and challenge the better rapper. That’s why. And not to take anything away from what 50’s doing. He could see it and tweet it but he knows I’m gonna respond or he could go rap about it but he’s gonna lose that battle.”
The two have been going back and forth for some time now, so expect their squirreling to only heat up even more. While on the other hand, Eminem hasn’t responded to any comments from The Game.
