Pooh Shiesty got hit with the book. The rapper has reportedly been sentenced to a hefty prison sentence over a 2020 shooting in Florida.
Real name Lontrell Donell Williams Jr., he’s been sentenced to 63 months behind bars after pleading guilty to a single firearms conspiracy charge. The 22-year-old artist was indicted in June 2021 on four counts related to an October 2020 shooting at the Landon Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida.
Prosecutors claim the Memphis native and two individuals shot a pair of men whom they were meeting to buy marijuana and sneakers from. Both victims of the shooting survived.
Pooh Shiesty was arrested again in June 2021 in connection to a Memorial Day weekend shooting at a strip club in Miami-Dade county. The status of that separate case is currently unknown.
His lawyer also notes they “are going to file a motion for any time he spent in state prison on the same crime to get him additional credit for time served.”
