42 Dugg might be doing some major time. He’s been arrested by federal agents because he failed to surrender to authorities for a six-month prison sentence.
This one doesn’t make too much sense, honestly. As reported by Detroit News, the 27-year-old failed to report to a federal prison camp in West Virginia last month to serve his six-month sentence for illegally possessing a firearm.
Since he never turned himself in, 42 Dugg is now facing an absconding charge and much more time. He’s looking at up to five years in federal prison. It all stems from an incident where he allegedly fired a weapon inside an Atlanta gun range last year.
The Detroit artist was arrested on Wednesday after touching down in his hometown on a private jet that flew in from Memphis, Tennessee. His lawyer, Steve Scharg says, “He got off the plane and they were waiting there to greet him.”
