The Gore Boyz are doing their part. The North Carolina rap group is giving back to one of their schools in a major way.
In a new video featuring TGB and the Morehouse College Vice President of Student Services, the rappers reveal they are donating a whopping $10,000 to the college in which member Herman Gore III attends. The funds come from a virtual concert they held during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They offered their sincerest thank you’s to supporters, donors, and fans in the touching clip. The money is surely going to help out the HBCU’s students in a major way – what more can you ask for?
Footage shows them presenting the massive (literally and figuratively) check. We’d like to give major props to The Gore Boyz for blessing up an amazing school in a way not many others are financially capable of.
The group consists of three brothers Herman, Edwin, and Sean-Michael Gore and they have made their imprint. The Gore Boyz’ hit song “Spend A Bag” has amassed over 700,000 plays on Spotify as well.
They are signed with Equity Distribution, a prominent digital streaming service owned by Roc Nation Records that signs agreements with artists to distribute their music on about 125 streaming platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify. Sean-Michael and Edwin Gore attend public schools in Gaston County, and Herman Gore III is enrolled at Morehouse College in Atlanta. The trio began in 2009. (TGBrocks)
