Kendrick Lamar has come through with new music. The rapper has dropped a new track called “The Heart Part 5.”
With just days to go until the release of his new and highly anticipated album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, ‘K. Dot’ surprise dropped a new track on Mother’s Day. A music video was released for the track, and it is pretty unique and a demonstration of just how impressive CGI is these days.
The video, directed by Dave Free and Kendrick himself, has the Compton, California native’s face morphing into big name stars including O.J. Simpson, Kanye West, Jussie Smollett, Kobe Bryant, Will Smith and Nipsey Hussle.
Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, which will be his fifth studio album, will be the followup to his Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award-winning project DAMN., which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 back in 2017. The project is already projected to do huge numbers, so now we just wait until it is finally here.
