Casanova has pled guilty. His legal issues stem from federal robbery, drug, and gun charges as part of his leadership role in the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods Gang.
The New York native has been locked up since turning himself in to FBI authorities in late 2020. He’s now pled guilty to a handful of crimes in his RICO case. Casanova is the 13th defendant in the racketeering case against the gang to plead guilty, as reported by ABC7.
The rapper just released a message about his guilty plea, saying in part, “THE SYSTEM IS CRAZY.”
He is being charged for offenses that took place across state lines from New York to Florida. As part of his plea, the “Don’t Run” artist admitted to the U.S. Attorney’s Office that he played a role in a July 2020 Florida shooting, a New York City robbery that happened in 2018, and also trafficked over 100 kilograms of marijuana.
He was originally charged with attempted murder and remained in custody at the Westchester County Jail until just after his plea deal was adjudicated. Stay tuned for more updates in the case, as he faces a minimum of five years behind bars and a maximum sentence of 60 years.
