Machine Gun Kelly thought it was over with Megan Fox. The music star has opened up about the basis of his upcoming stoner comedy.
MGK and the star model are more than just lovers. They’re also creative collaborators, and for their most recent project, titled Good Mourning, he says the movie was inspired by a text she sent him.
It wasn’t all sweet and dandy however, because the message she sent him wasn’t a good one. He thought his fiancée was dumping him over text. MGK revealed of the comedy film in which he both directed and stars in, saying,
“I wrote the movie for her because she was unknowingly the cause of the spiral. She sent me a text just like in the movie.”
Good Mourning will be available in theaters and on-demand on May 20th. Check out the trailer below. The official synopsis reads…
“When movie star London Clash (Colson Baker) wakes up to an implied break up text from the love of his life, his world is turned upside down. And the timing couldn’t be worse because the most important meeting of his career is scheduled for later that same day. Compounded by chaotic roommates, and wildly unpredictable twists and turns, London’s day keeps going downhill until ultimately, he is forced to choose between pursuing his one true love and landing a life-changing, starring role in a major motion picture.”
