J. Cole might be joining Nike’s Air Jordan. The rumors are fueled even more after he made his Canadian professional basketball debut in some J’s.
The Scarborough Shooting Stars basketball team kicked off its inaugural season this week with their newly signed guard/rapper. Drake refused to miss any of the action as well, and went to Instagram to document Cole’s Canadian Elite Basketball League debut.
“It’s real @scarboroughshootingstars,” ‘Drizzy’ captioned a photo of the broadcast of the matchup. “My brother just checked in.”
Circling back to the Jordans… while Cole was playing, he rocked out in the Why Not .5’s. He also has unfollowed former sponsor, Puma, on Instagram, potentially confirming the rumors even more. Stay tuned in case of an official signing deal announcement!
