A$AP Rocky is ready to do his job as a dad. The rap star has spoken up about fatherhood in a new cover story for Dazed.
The 33-year-old welcomed a baby with Rihanna earlier in May, and has since sat down for his first interview. While speaking to Dazed, he laid out some of the hopes for his child.
Even with the generational wealth and obvious perks and advantages their baby baby will enjoy, Rocky hopes his son never loses his imagination. He discussed still watching some of his favorite cartoons like Teletubbies and the Nickelodeon classic Blue’s Clues.
“I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what,” he said emphatically. “I actually love to watch cartoons – I’ve watched like, Teletubbies, Blue’s Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig and Baby Shark.”
The A$AP Mob boss continued, “I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate. And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents.”
Well, we’d say their boy has a cool set of parents for sure! We wish them both the best of parenting luck.
