Kanye West is expanding his empire. The rap icon has added two major names to his Donda Sports company.
TMZ Sports reported Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown is the first professional athlete to sign with Donda Sports. As previously reported by the outlet, retired future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald became one of the first big names to go public with his decision to join forces with Mr. West for off-field ventures, saying that it was a “no-brainer” decision.
However, Jaylen was ahead of him. Although the news is only coming out now, they made things official after West attended the Warriors versus Celtics game back in March. They posed for a photo together, and Jaylen was spotted in a Donda Sports hoodie afterwards, when he was hanging out with A$AP Ferg.
Kanye thought Jaylen was the perfect fit as a God-fearing man, social activist, and extremely talented athlete. Expect more big names to join – many will likely jump at the chance to partner with, debatably, one of the most influential people in the world.
