50 Cent is speaking up. In new post-and-delete Instagram activity, he’s addressed the NFL’s first openly transgender cheerleader.
While ‘Fif’ hasn’t been taking too kindly to Madonna’s social media content from the past few months, he did seemingly have a positive opinion on another controversial figure – the league’s first openly transgender cheerleader, Justine Lindsay.
If you’re not familiar with the name, the 29-year-old was hired by the Carolina Panthers’ Topcats cheer squad back in March. She’s due to suit up for the 2022-23 NFL playing season.
This past weekend, the New York native hopped on the ‘Gram’ to share his opinion with a Daily Mail headline screenshot about Lindsay. “I guess the NFL is looking to spread its wings,” he wrote in the caption.
“Why not a transgender player though? I hope this is not just for press.” Shortly after, he deleted the post.
A positive, non-trolling 50 Cent post? That is a major surprise for sure. Could it be a new trend for the rap icon? Only time will tell.
