21 Savage isn’t going to get in the way. The Atlanta star has addressed the current beef between two of rap’s biggest names right now.
During a sit-down conversation on My Expert Opinion with Math Hoffa, 21 Savage offered his thoughts on the ongoing fued between Lil Durk and NBA YoungBoy, two artists he’s worked with before.
He linked up with YoungBoy on his 2016 “Murder” track, and collaborated with ‘Durkio’ for his 2019 song, “Die Slow.” They Also joining up on Nardo Wick’s “Who Want Smoke?” remix.
After being asked if he’s assisted in trying to end the disdain between the two, the Atlanta lyricist says he’s not touching their problems. Savage said…
“Nah, hell nah, Certain shil&t you can’t even…you don’t try. Certain sh*t, you just know…ain’t no trying.”
Although their beef has recently cooled out, it began when Durk took shots at the Baton Rouge native on “AHHH HA.” YoungBoy returned fire with “I Hate YoungBoy,” in which he dissed a whole lot of folks, including Durk and his fiancée India Royale.
Well, it’s good that he’s staying out of the way and avoiding beefs of his own, but, perhaps, it wouldn’t hurt to play mediator. Hopefully Lil Durk and YoungBoy can one day settle their differences in peace.
