Don’t expect Lil Yachty to go on tour with Lil Baby anytime soon. ‘Lil Boat’ has explained the exact reason why he’s vehemently against the idea.
The two Atlanta artists have never toured together, and based off of the former’s comments made to DJ Akademiks on his Off The Record podcast, it seems like they never will. Yachty told Akademiks, “I’m not going in front of Lil Baby, bro.” He then elaborated…
“Motherf**kers gonna look at me crazy, ‘What the f**k n*gga, get off the stage.’ I’m not going in front of that n*gga at all. I don’t wanna go in front of him. I don’t even wanna be on the same lineup as him, ever. Ever.”
He continued…
“It’s not even about hits. We are in such different lanes. If someone’s coming to see him, they are not tryna hear me. We are on two different ends of the spectrum.”
The “Minnesota” artist has a point. Their music is, in fact, on opposite ends of the spectrum, but for sure they’re both dope rappers.
