The Game is reminiscing. The Hip-Hop veteran has spoken up about losing a rap battle to the one and only Kanye West.
As the world awaits the release of his new Drillmatic album, it’s worth revisiting a conversation he had in May about Mr. West. During a sit-down with All The Smoke. The West Coast native recalled the time he and Ye began freestyling outside of a California party.
Game said to hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson…
âSo yeah, me and Ye we end up freestyling outside of [the party] âĤ my sh*t was all gangsta, but Ye had the punchlines and he had the women; so he beat me that night. So ever since then me and Ye weâve been locked in.”
Game went on to say from that point forward, Kanye was always by his side on every album with nothing but support in every way he could. You’ll remember the comments he made after that, for sure. That’s when he added that Kanye has done more for his career than Dr. Dre ever did.
Interesting stuff. It’s not a surprise to hear the love Ye has always shown, as he’s solid with everybody, for the most part (unless you’re ‘Skete‘).
Until the next time it dripsâĤ
