YNW Melly is seeking a medical furlough. The jailed Florida native, apparently, has problems from improper care of his diamond teeth.
Documents obtained by Complex reveal the recording artist is seeking a medical furlough as a result of an abscess caused by improper care of his iced out mouth.
Per a statement from his attorney, Raven Liberty, his dental crowns…
“require constant upkeep and at the bare minimum regular flossing and brushing. As a result, he has an abscess in his lower jaw that is creating extreme pain and chronic infection.”
Not only is the “Murder on My Mind” rapper not allowed regular visits to a dentist, but he also isn’t permitted dental floss or a normal toothbrush. He has been permitted, however, to see the prison’s dentist, but the staff there doesn’t have adequate tools to take care of the star’s infection.
His legal team has requested he be allowed to seek dental care outside of prison to keep his infection from getting worse. Stay tuned for updates.
