Lil Tjay is thankful for the support. He’s showing major love to fans and speaking out for the first time since being shot earlier this year.
The rap star was recently discharged from the hospital, so he went online to thank his fans for their love and support while recovering.
Tjay is feeling better, and he took to social media this week to say, while things were ātough,ā he is back and āstronger than ever.ā
Tjay, wearing a neck brace, said in a video…
āHey whatās going on yāall? Iām just checking in with yāall. I just wanna say, thanks for the love, thanks for the support. Iāve been looking at the DMās, seeing the comments and everything else and I feel love.ā
He continued…

Several months ago, in June, the 21-year-old was brutally shot during an attempted robbery while sitting in his car outside a Chipotle restaurant in Edgewater, New Jersey. The Bronx native was rushed into emergency surgery where he was reported to have been unconscious and breathing through a tube for several days.
It has to be comforting for his fans to know he’s doing very well and staying optimistic. It’s great to see Lil Tjay survived, as we can’t keep losing rappers to gun violence.
