Freddie Gibbs has jokes. The Hip-Hop star has roasted jailed singer R. Kelly in a new freestyle that’s been teased online.
‘Gangsta Gibbs’ is looking to help ease R. Kelly’s financial troubles while the disgraced singer sits behind bars on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
In a teaser video from his upcoming Funk Flex freestyle posted this week, the Indiana rapper joked about donating money to the “Ignition” singer’s commissary fund after hearing about him being “down bad.”
Judging by Flex’s reaction in the clip, Gibbs had just finished spitting a fiery freestyle during which he “sh*t on” R. Kelly. Leaving Flex in tears, Gibbs said…
“I said ‘f**k him’ like I love him. I told y’all I be joking. F**k you n-gga, I’m the new king of R&B. He gotta sit down. I’m going to put something on your books. Don’t worry, Kellz. I got you, Sylvester.”
He added:
“I heard he was down bad on the books. They f**ked his books up … He came out owing people. N-gga come outta jail with a bill!”
