Chief Keef really isn’t all that influential, according to Charlamagne Tha God. He’s spoken up with his opinion on the young rap veteran’s music.
Earlier this week, the radio celebrity gave his top four picks for most influential rappers of all time, and many noticed the Chicago drill star, Chief Keef, was not on the list.
During his conversation on The What, Charlamagne explained…
āIām not going to say the order number, but thereās four: Kanye [West], JAY-Z, [2]Pac and [Lilā] Wayne. The four most influential rappers of all time.ā
After one of the show’s hosts asked why the “Love Sosa” star didn’t make the cut, Charlamagne replied…
“No, you know why I donāt put Chief Keef in there? Because Chief Keef didnāt influence the world, he influenced a sound of a region. Those four people I named literally influenced people all over the world.ā
While he doesn’t have him on his list, at least Charlamagne put respect on Sosa’s name for influencing that specific type of sound.
