Jim Jones has something to get off his chest. He’s aired out BET after they refused him entry to last week’s Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta.
Last Friday, the Harlem native said he wanted to show support for his close friend and fellow New Yorker Fat Joe, who hosted this year’s award show, but claimed the network wouldn’t allow him access to the occasion.
‘Capo’ took to Instagram to make sure ‘Joey Crack’ was aware he tried his best to be in attendance. It went down on Friday evening, but BET apparently killed Jim Jones’ request and placed the blame on COVID-19 protocols.
He penned on social media…
“I was tryin to go to the bet hip hop awards and support my brother @fatjoe and this how a @bet handled me lol lol Dam @BET I thought this was th hip hop award show. Somebody tell @fatjoe I tried don’t want him think I ain’t keep my word told him I was comin But BET says different mayb next time tear tht shit down joe They still talkin Covid and th cdc says ain’t no more Covid lol.”
