LeBron James’ 18-year-old son, Bronny James, is finally resting at home, and now the 911 tape has just been released.
CNN is reporting to have the 911 call about Bronny’s collapse. An unidentified man can be heard on the recording speaking to the operator…
Man: “Listen … listen to me. Get an ambulance here now.”
Operator: “All right, sir, we’re going to send help. Don’t hang up, sir, don’t hang up.”
After asking for Bronny’s age the operator then asked if there was a doctor or nurse on scene, but the person said there was not. Have a listen to the tape for yourself…
TMZ reported he was released on Thursday morning and still recovering, but in good condition. Dr. Merije Chukumerije of Cedars-Sinai Medical In Los Angeles offered an update, saying…
“Although his workup will be ongoing. We are hopeful for his continued progress and are encouraged by his response, resilience, and his family and community support.”
Dr. Chukumerije is a top medical consultant not only for the NBA, but also the NHL and Major League Baseball. He didn’t offer any cause for Bronny’s cardiac arrest, but it’s probably a safe bet the point gaurd is doing pretty well since his discharge has come so quickly.
Bronny was practicing with his new USC Trojans basketball squad on Monday, when the All American suddenly collapsed and had to be revived by school medical staff.
By all accounts, it was a very scary moment, but from what’s been reported, Bronny was conscious by the time he showed up at the hospital.
His father, LeBron, sent out a heartfelt message to Bronny’s well-wishers earlier on Thursday, saying…
