Rolling Stone is coming for DaBaby. The news outlet has published old security footage from his 2018 Walmart shooting incident.
The Charlotte native was involved in a shooting that resulted in 19-year-old Jaylin Craig being shot and killed. As details emerged, the rapper was identified as the shooter but did not face homicide charges after claiming self-defense.
Rolling Stone has released footage that sheds more light on the situation. It appears that DaBaby throws the first punch in the entire quarrel, however it was not at Craig. It was thrown at a man named Henry Douglas after both of them and a third man had surrounded him in an aisle with his kids and former partner.
Craig is then seen taking his gun out before more chaos ensues, and DaBaby takes his out and fires. There’s no audio or clear picture of what the men were saying to each other, either.
All in all, this case has been closed for a minute, and hopefully will not be reopened, as people coming for the Hip-Hop superstar need to stop the attempts to further slander his name.
