A-Town Legend, T.I. is wondering aloud just how it is the killers of Breonna Taylor are still on the force, but actor and host Nick Cannon was fired within 24 hours after anti-semitic words on one of his shows.
Only one of the cops that killed Breonna Taylor has been fired and it took months to do so. None of the Louisville, Kentucky police officers involved have been charged with anything. Of the interesting situation, the “Big Things Poppin'” rapper pondered over social media…
“Hmmm… Nick Cannon loses his job faster than any of the cops who killed Breonna Taylor.”
Most believe T.I. makes a good point. You all probably know Nick Cannon has had a tumultuous week since anti-semitic comments were thrown back and forth on his podcast show, Cannon’s Class. After offended viewers spoke up, Cannon’s long time business partner ViacomCBS fired the comedian fast, after he refused to apologize.
However, the next day, when Nick Cannon’s other business partner FOX Network came calling for an apology, the Hollywood veteran backed down and issued a full throated apology and retraction of his words. Cannon remarked…
“First and foremost I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth during my interview with Richard Griffin.”
Nick Cannon executive produces The Masked Singer … perhaps he saw the show as the last domino. It remains a wonder why an entertainer with such a successful career would chance ruining it all with highly offensive anti-semitic rhetoric, but he did.
