Kanye West is still working. It’s been revealed that Ye has begun studio time for the follow-up to his Donda project.
Donda 2 will be his first sequel album ever, although there’s no telling when it’ll drop. The news was confirmed to Complex by Steven Victor, who is currently the Chief Operating Officer of G.O.O.D. Music, the record label founded by Mr. West back in 2004.
“Ye has started working on his new masterpiece, Donda 2,” Victor said. If true, it will be his eleventh solo studio project and surely another fire album.
However, it’s important to keep in mind Kanye’s history of working on albums and then never releasing them. Donda did actually drop, so we can only hope the musical genius deems its possible sequel worthy of the public’s ears.
