Kid Cudi is not cool with Kanye West. The Cleveland rapper has clarified they won’t be collaborating again anytime soon.
‘Cudder’ took to Twitter to announce he won’t be working with Kanye moving forward. His post came after the tracklist for Pusha T’s new album It’s Almost Dry surfaced online, which shows Cudi and Ye appearing together on a song called “Rock N Roll.”
He tweeted, “Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got w Pusha.” Cudi continued…
“I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye. I am not cool w that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye -Scott.”
This comes as a major disappointment for fans, who have loved their iconic collaborations that span all the way back to 2008 on 808s & Heartbreak. Perhaps they’ll settle things at some point, but it doesn’t look like they’ll be spending any time together for the foreseeable future.
