PIERRE THOMAS, CEO OF QUALITY CONTROL MUSIC, RESPONDS TO ACCUSATIONS OF “SNITCHING”

There’s been a lot of chatter going around the last couple days accusing the CEO of Atlanta’s Quality Control Music of snitching.

His name is Pierre ‘Pee’ Thomas, and he’s responsible for the success of meteoric rap stars like Lil Baby, Migos, and Cardi B.

Thomas stepped to his timeline on Wednesday to say, “Stop glorifying dumb sh**.” His strong statement reads, in part…

“I see that 300 hundred million got all them hating a** ni**** mad back home. Any body know Mr know my character. Our culture so fu**ed up it’s sad y’all living this imaginary street. I’m changing lives and changing my family curse. I don’t got no love for no ni*** that try to kill me or mine.”

It appears the “snitching” issue was raised by a popular YouTuber who goes by the name of 1090Jake. He’s built a successful platform talking about the snitching topic and tales of his own time spent incarcerated.

In his video about Thomas, 1090Jake accuses him of snitching because he reported the whereabouts of a guy with an active murder warrant to Atlanta police. It happened on May 23rd, 2010, at Lenox Mall.

Allegedly, Thomas had an encounter with a guy that day at the mall that he believed had shot him and murdered his friend six months earlier, on December 8th, 2009.

The assertion is that Thomas reported the guy to police, helped identify him, and followed up with cops during the investigation until the guy in question took a plea deal.

There is paperwork floating around online, but its authenticity can not be verified. Moreover, by Thomas’ statement, he appears to believe whatever he did in relation to the situation was correct.

The $300 million figure mentioned in his statement is a reference to the huge deal/merger Quality Control Music reached with HYBE America multinational entertainment company.

HYBE is run by billionaire music mogul Scooter Braun. Acquiring QC Media holdings was one of Braun’s first moves after taking complete control of the powerful conglomerate.

Pierre Thomas clearly feels like the snitching accusations are coming from hometown guys that are simply hating.

It seems much of the debate online hinges on whether one believes Thomas was linked in on the streets at the time or whether he was a civilian.
