Kandi Burruss and her hubby Todd Tucker celebrated the birth of their second baby together over the weekend. They had a little girl named Blaze Tucker, 8lbs 1oz. If you’ve been watching the show, you know the happy couple used a surrogate by the name of Shadina Blunt. They gave their fans every detail of their journey from the start, ending last season of Real Housewives of Atlanta meeting the surrogate and picking right back up with the storyline at the beginning of season 12.
Via Instagram, Kandi showed pictures of her and baby Blaze getting bonding time, while giving much thanks to Shadina and Dr. Jackie of Married To Medicine for her help bringing the baby home successfully. You may or may not know the pregnancy was not without its setbacks and heartaches. On RHOA a couple weeks ago, Kandi and Todd revealed baby Blaze was actually a twin, but her sister wasn’t viable and the couple lost her.
Kandi was upfront about the pain she went through over the circumstance, but vowed to keep her mind on all her blessings – and now she has a brand new baby girl. Of her new arrival, Kandi told her followers on Instagram, “She’s gonna Blaze a path to greatness!” Congratulations to Todd & Kandi!
