After moving out of R. Kelly’s condo in Trump Tower, R. Kelly’s girlfriend, slash “sex slave,” Azriel Clary, has become a lot more vocal. She’s had plenty to say over social media in reaction to Lifetime’s reboot, Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning. Tweeting in realtime during the docuseries, the precocious 22-year-old eventually offered what seemed like an apology for her approach to other alleged victims of her man, R. Kelly.
Azriel took to Twitter saying… “I woke up feeling amazing, I had to humble myself and swallow my pride.” She goes on, “I am sorry for jumping into a battle that is bigger than me. I do have good news for all of those that support me.”
It’s also been reported that Azriel left the Trump Tower condo because she was fed up with drama from R. Kelly’s other live-in girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage. The two had been a permanent fixture in federal courtrooms all across the country since the singer had been locked up without bond… and they were usually seen holding hands.
More evidence that the fog of R. Kelly’s hold may be lifting from Azriel is the fact it was revealed in the finale of the docuseries that she is actually in communication with her family now. Although Azriel says she still supports her 52-year-old boyfriend, for now her family will just have to be happy with baby steps.
