North Carolina rapper Cordae is speaking out. The hip-hop star went online to discuss performers only owning being Black when it’s convenient for them.
Cordae called out entertainers who are only pro-Black when it’s “cool.” He tweeted out a series of messages about the matter and said that “It’s a lot of Oreo a** n****s in this entertainment sh*t.”
The former YBN member is never one to shy away from issues of racism and race. He’s always been an advocate for Black issues in America and this, too, just shows how much he cares about these types of topics.
Just days ago, Cordae tweeted asking for ways to help Howard University students, a historically Black school. Last year, he was even arrested at a Breonna Taylor protest, but was able to dodge a felony charge thankfully.
