Meek Mill has something major coming. For the anniversary of his father’s death, he’s readying a whole lot of new music.
After airing out his grievances with Atlantic Records earlier in the year year, Meek took to his social media to reveal he’ll be releasing a whopping 10 mixtapes “independently” beginning in September.
The chart-topping rapper will launch his next series of projects on August 18, the anniversary of his dad’s passing, his first new cut without backing from a major label. “F*ck it ima take the risk,” he wrote on Instagram.

“A million behind every project! All sponsors connected to me or my brand tap in immediately I need y’all for this riskkkk ima take! #NOMAJORLABELVIBES.”
It is still unknown whether the Philadelphia native has terminated his contract with Atlantic Records. Regardless, get ready for a boatload of new audio fire.
