Eminem is giving Kendrick Lamar his respect. The hip-hop icon has spoken up in a new interview about just how good he thinks ‘K. Dot’ is.
Ahead of his big Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show performance going down Sunday, the Detroit native sat down for an interview with SiriusXM’s Sway Calloway. In the chat, he gave high praise to the youngest member of the show’s lineup, Kendrick Lamar.
Note that Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige will also be performing, so it’s going to be stacked. In the interview, however, Slim Shady dished that Kendrick is one of the best lyricists ever.
When asked by Sway if he agrees the Compton native is “the most electrifying vocalist of this generation,” ‘Em’ replied…
“I absolutely would agree. Kendrick is at the very top, top tier of lyricists – not just of this generation, but of all time.”
